Following your marriage, it is important to celebrate with your guests with a meal and music. Bled offers several high standard restaurants with varied cuisine offerings.
We understand that arranging meals for a number of people is sometimes a challenging task. The venues we work with supply us with wedding menus – a compilation of what each the chef feels is appropriate for a wedding celebration. We will share these menus with you and you can choose one that meets your taste. If no single menu meets your needs – simply compile a menu of your own. You can choose the starter from one menu, soup from another, main course from another. Just and send us your version. We will have it priced and inform you about the final costs for your menu.
Special requirements: Vegetarianism is well known in these parts and all vegetarians can easily be catered for. For vegans, people with dietary requirements or children’s menus – if you let us know what they like to eat our chefs will prepare these dishes separately.

GRAND HOTEL TOPLICE RESTAURANT
Location: The restaurant is located in Grand Hotel Toplice – Bled town centre with a view over the lake and the island. Next to the stylish décor it also boasts a terrace area overlooking the lake – very suitable for before dinner reception as well as suitable alternative for the smokers throughout the evening meal.
Access: The restaurant is accessible from within the hotel (suitable for those staying at Toplice) as well as from outside – over the terrace area.
Décor: The restaurant has some of that proper old-fashioned style – the same as the whole hotel giving it the name – Grand restaurant. The wedding party is completely separated from the other guests of the hotel.
Food: Excellent.
Cost: Upper range of costs. Please ask for set menus and we will email them to you.
Maximum capacity: 300 people max – we recommend it for wedding parties from 30 people or more.
Table set up: Various set-ups are possible; also available are round tables – we will advise of the optimal when the final number of guests is passed on to us.
Our opinion: The restaurant is an excellent choices as far as location and food is concerned. It is easily accessible from nearly all Bled hotels, B&B’s, easy to find. The restaurant is fairly large – offers comfort and high quality service. A round-shaped dance floor is also conveniently set in the middle of the restaurant.

PANORAMA RESTAURANT
Location: The Panorama Restaurant is located opposite the hotel Trst – Bled town centre with a view over the lake and the island.
Access: The restaurant is readily accessible on foot from all central Bled hotels.
Décor: Contemporary decoration with a terrace overlooking the lake.
Food: Traditional Slovenian dishes, focused on Gorenjska dishes.

Table set up: Various set-ups are possible; also available are round tables – we will advise of the optimal when the final number of guests is passed on to us.
Our opinion: The restaurant is an excellent choice for location and traditional food choices. It is easily accessible from nearly all Bled hotels. The restaurant is large – offering good views of the lake island and castle.

BLED CASTLE MAIN RESTAURANT
The Bled castle has two restaurants: MAIN RESTAURANT is located on the upper courtyard. KNIGHTS HALL RESTAURANT is located slightly lower in the mid-section of the castle.
Location: The restaurant is located inside Bled castle and is a venue to remember. With one-of-a-kind view over the lake and the island, proper castle atmosphere – it simply is the most scenic location in town.
Access: Bled castle is accessible only by a walk up the steep castle hill (approx 3 min walk) but is not very suitable for people with walking disabilities.
Cost: Upper range of costs. Please ask for set menus and we will email you.
Décor: Recently renovated and with medieval feel to it. Available are chair covers, different colors of table cloths, etc.
Food: Excellent.
Table set up: Various set-ups are possible – we will advise of the optimal when the final number of guests is passed on to us.
Our opinion: The restaurant is one of Bled’s best choices as far as location and food is concerned. Access is slightly difficult as you need to consider getting all the guests up and even-more-so back down in the evening. Coaches, minibuses, taxis can easily be arranged at a supplement.

VILA BLED RESTAURANT
Location: Hotel Vila Bled is located adjacent to Bled Island.
Access: As the Hotel is a few mins drive from the centre of Bled, vehicle access is recommended. There is also the possibility to try the long walk on the path around the lake.
Décor: Dine on the covered terrace overlooking the lake and surrounding parklands or choose the comfortable surrounds of the private dining rooms.
Food: Exceptional service, food and wine, to satisfy the most discerning palate. Please ask for menus.

Our opinion: For a truly stylish reception Vila Bled is a superb venue. Choosing to have your reception at Hotel Vila Bled will be rewarded by the one night’s complimentary accommodation for the bride and groom in this four star hotel.

Location: The restaurant is located at the far end of the lake overlooking the island and the distant Karavanke Mountains.
Access: It is accessible by road. Parking is limited.
Décor: Contemporary decoration.

Food: This restaurant offers traditional cuisine with a modern twist. Please ask for menus.

Food: Pension Mayer is renowned for its excellent food and its unbeatable service.
The menu ranges from traditional Slovene to international styles and vegetarian diets are gladly catered. Pension Mayer also has a wide variety of excellent Slovenian wines in their impressive wine cellar. Please ask for menus.
Our opinion: We recommend this venue for its great service and traditional food. With exquisite cuisine and friendly staff – the evening will be for sure long remembered.

Location: A romantic setting directly by the lake below St Martin Church.
Décor: Modern.

Our opinion: It is ideal for pre-wedding gatherings of smaller wedding parties, where high quality drinks and cocktails can be enjoyed with canapés and delicious finger food on the Vila’s lake facing terrace. It also boasts a superb wine collection.

JULIJANA RESTAURANT
Location: The restaurant is located in Grand Hotel Toplice – Bled town centre with a view over the lake and the island. Next to the stylish décor it also boasts a terrace area overlooking the lake – terrace gives it a good alternative for the smokers.
Access: The restaurant is accessible from within the hotel (suitable for those staying at Toplice hotel) as well as from outside – over the terrace area.
Décor: It has a very pleasant old-fashioned style décor that goes well with the hotel. It is often used for lunches of CD (Core Diplomatique) and VIP dining.
The wedding party is completely separated from the other guests of the hotel.
Food: Excellent.
Cost: Upper range of costs (please ask for set menus and we will email them to you).
Maximum capacity: 22 people max – we recommend it for smaller more intimate wedding parties.
Table set up: Due to the fixed layout of the restaurant the possibilities are limited.
The main table can accommodate up to 14 people maximum, whereas the guests are seated in separate booths – round tables.
Our opinion: The restaurant is an excellent choice as far as location and food is concerned. It is easy to find and easily accessible from nearly all Bled hotels and B&B’s. The restaurant offers an intimate atmosphere for smaller wedding parties that do not have a particular wish to “party the night away”. The restaurant does not have possibilities of a dance floor – restaurant’s sound system is used for the background music.

Restaurant Tale of Us
Location: Tale of Us Restaurant is in the centre of Bled, in the immediate vicinity of the lake.
Décor: Fully renovated in delicate style, mixture of stone walls covered with moss and gold. Customers can see the work in the kitchen through the glass doors.
Food: It prides itself on its extensive offer of fine food and wide variety of wines.
The cuisine is varied, there is something for lovers of fish, for those who prefer meat, as well as for vegetarians, and it is complemented by a touch of the Orient.
Cost: 5€-32€ for a’la carte
Our opinion: Together with his unmissable team, Chef Knego continues his culinary enterprise in the completely renovated former Okarina Restaurant. Here, the fundamental ideas from Sova Restaurant are deepened and refreshed, hence the name Tale of Us.

SOVA RESTAURANT
Location: In the quaint village of Mlino, Restaurant Sova is nestled by the shores of Lake Bled, just opposite the traditional “pletna” boat docks and the stop for the tourist train or bus. With a breath-taking view of Bled Island, the lake itself and the surrounding hills and mountains, the restaurant is only 15 minutes’ walk from Bled town centre. Just enough to work up an appetite.
Décor: Wood that gives a touch of homeliness and relaxation. Costumers can see the work of kitchen chefs through the glass – inside the restaurant. On the terrace is a beautiful view of the lake and its surroundings.
Food: Very diverse menu or A la carte offer, lots of different wines and service on a very high level! We also have amazing list of wines to choose from.
Cost: 5€ – 30€ for A la carte offer, Menus on request – please ask for menus.
Maximum capacity: Inside the restaurant ; cca. 40 seats. On the terrace, upper floor with a view (also covered in winter time, with fire place) cca. 35 -40 seats.
Our opinion: “Sova” is the Slovenian word for owl. Much like this watchful and mysterious bird, who stays awake while all others sleep, we are always fully focused on your needs.
